LaGrange, Ohio, May 26, 2009. Inservco, a leader in Electronic Manufacturing Services, is pleased to announce that it received the 2009 Crain's Leading EDGE Award, honoring 95 mid-market companies that collectively pumped $1.6 billion into the Northeast Ohio economy. "We've got a nice diverse base", said Kirk Neiswander, president of Independence-based Entrepreneurs EDGE (Economic Development through Growth and Entrepreneurship), which compiles the list of winners. And that's the thing with small-and middle-market companies, he noted: "You never know which one might grow up to be hugely significant".
According to the Entrepreneurs EDGE, 83 of this year's honorees created more than 1,800 net new jobs over the past two years. "It's mid-market companies like Inservco creating the new jobs and growth in the region", said Mr. Dennis Docherty, Chairman and CEO of Inservco.
